"While staying in Los Angeles, I managed to drop my laptop not once, but twice, breaking a hinge. It was in pretty sad shape, would not stay open and I received two repair quotes, both for roughly the price of a new computer. I asked Peter if he could look at it, and while he confirmed that to permanently fix it would require parts and lots of cash, he was able to quickly (and for as very fair price) create a extremely effective "temporary" fix which lasted for months (until I bought a new computer) and continues to keep the laptop soldiering on as my backup computer.
